…will never be anything compared to SOONER football, but it’s fun nonetheless! As a part of my job at KU (I’m a photo editor in University Relations), I sometimes shoot KU events. Many of those don’t make for very exciting pictures, but football games are an exception. It’s hard not to get into the Rock Chalk spirit when you’re on the field at a football game! I’ll always be a Sooner, but I have to admit that being here in Lawrence has upped my Kansas spirit level a bit. It’s not such a bad place!
My very favorite image I shot is currently featured on the KU homepage. I love that Big Jay made it into the perfect spot in that frame at just the right time, and you can see a hint of the flag back there in the background:

I also really love this next one! It says it all with so little.

And a details shot…it’s habit.

I love the last one… the repetition makes it! Miss ya, sorry we haven’t got to chat in forever

you’re loyal blog fanbase is missing you and excited for the new blog!
Hello,
I realize I don’t know you, but I just wanted to say I love your KU passion.
I am sorry to admit I am a ksu grad, but I did convert to the light several years ago and there is no going back. I TOTALLY love the Jayhawks now. You could probably say I am obsessed with KU. I am trying to make up for lost time.
Have fun with the attachments below and share or post wherever you like (although it has been posted here before a while back). I would be honored since I used to be anti KU to the max and now feel real guilty about it now that I finally woke up. I am all about admitting a mistake to Jayhawk nation. It isn’t about me but the greatness of KU.
Rock Chalk Jayhawk KU!
